NON (groupe)

NON est un groupe souvent rattaché à la scène dark folk et industrielle. C'est un projet de Boyd Rice.

Biographie

Dans ses concerts il délivre une totalisante et tétanisante non-musique avec des murs de sons ou bruits qui obligeaient le spectateur/public à réagir : se soumettre ou ne pas se soumettre[style à revoir].

Durant la période post-industrielle, le temps aidant, l'artiste s'est un peu assagi avec des musiques moins violentes quoique dures ou plus douces aux paroles liées à une philosophie nihiliste. Cependant ses inspirations (pas toujours avouées très clairement), en questionnent plus d'un, ces dernières étant fortement influencées par l'idéologie d'extrême droite et le satanisme. Soupçonné de néo-nazisme après avoir posé en photo avec un nazi américain, connu pour être l'un des hauts dignitaires de l'Église de Satan (il a initié Marc Almond et Marilyn Manson), chantre du Darwinisme social, Boyd Rice est surtout un provocateur dont les idées réelles sont difficiles à déterminer.
