La série a été commandée le lors du dévoilement de la programmation 2013-2014 du réseau Global[4].

Les rôles ont été attribués dans cet ordre : Andrea Martin[5], Kacey Rohl[6], Benjamin Arthur et Azura Skye[7], Colin Mochrie, Wendy Crewson et Jennifer Irwin[8]. En , Martin Short et Eugene Levy ont été annoncés pour figurer dans la série[9].

Le , NBC annule la série après cinq épisodes[10].
