Wangchuk
Wangchuk, aussi écrit Wangchuck ou Wangchug (tibétain : དབང་ཕྱུག, Wylie : dbang phyug) est un nom personnel tibétain signifiant puissant (souverain), et correspondant au mot sanskrit Īśvara[1]. Il est porté notamment par :
- Tashi Wangchuk (1985-), militant défendant l’enseignement de la langue tibétaine et prisonnier d'opinion tibétain ;
- Dorji Wangchuk (né en 1967), tibétologue et bouddhiste
- Jamyang Jamtsho Wangchuk , acteur bhoutanais
